The name Petits Noizons comes from the old Burgundian dialect, Les Nosroyes, which means walnut. This delicious Pommard is aged for 15 to 17 months in both new and old oak barrels creating a wine that is fleshy, silky and supple with inky dark fruit, pretty red fruits and savoury overtones of coffee bean. Quite full, but ever so well balanced, the tannins whilst soft, have presence and authority. Drinking beautifully now but this Pommard will cellar happily for another 10-12 years.
