An incredibly dark fruited, juicy Volnay from Chateu de Meursault. Intensely flavored on the palate with dark cherry, plump blueberry and inky bramble fruit. Don't assume this is a one dimensional fruit bomb, no, the mature tannic structure keeps everything perfectly poised and expertly controlled. This has everything required to continue growing but we think the perfect balance between age and fruit is from now and over the next few years.
