This wonderful old estate dating back to the 1700's is planted with 65% Cabernet Sauvignon, 30% Merlot and 5% Petit Verdot with vines aged from 40 years old all the way up to 100. The wine itself is just hitting peak drinking, very approachable but with the rustic charm of old school claret. Cherry fruit, plummy, medium bodied with a peppery spice and a touch of toasty vanilla.
