Fernando de Castilla Classic Cream

A nose of dried fruits, nuts and caramel - reminiscent of a light Christmas pudding.  The flavours are rich and concentrated on the palate with a tangy acidity but these are softened by a sweetness which balances it all together.

Fernando de Castillo is a small independent sherry house revitalised by a Norwegian called Jan Pettersen in 1999.  He soon establised Fernando de Castilla as masters of the production and ageing of fine, unblended, untreated sherries.  Other sherries to look at are their Classic Fino and Classic Manzanilla, Classic Amontillado and Classic Pedro Ximenez.
