Vineyard named "En Orveaux" situated above the Clos Vougeot, exposed to the east. Neighbouring Chambolle-Musigny. Clay and limestone mix with a large proportion of small stones.
Opulent 2017 Echézeaux Grand Cru with rich, luscious red fruits and a luxuriously textured, cassis-like body that generously coats the palate. Very soft with structured but approachable tannins. Whilst cellar time will clearly add another angle of complexity, in relative youth this is incredibly inviting and engaging. Drink or hold, either way it'll be sensational.
