Domaine La Tasque is a small family domaine situated in the rolling countryside between Carcassonne and Béziers in the Languedoc, South of France. It is owned by Master of Wine, Juliet Bruce Jones and her husband, Simon Ingman. The vineyards are organically farmed and harvested by hand.
2024 is the second vintage of this pioneering wine. It is mostly Assyrtiko, renowned for making sought-after white wines in Santorini, and a touch of Bourboulenc, the principal white grape in La Clape, 40km from our vineyards.
Produces a bone-dry wine with aromas of hawthorn, citrus and honeysuckle. The richness mid-palate is well balanced by fresh acidity, a touch of minerality and a long finish. The acidity and slight saline character make it a good match for shellfish, particularly langoustine.
