Domaine Taupenot-Merme Saint Romain Blanc 2020

Saint Romain sneaks under the radar a bit, perhaps not the first name that springs to mind when you think of white Burgundy, but it's certainly one worth exploring. This example from the brilliant Taupenot-Merme would the best place to start the journey. Wonderfully fragrant on the nose with lemon peel and perfumed white flowers. The palate is beautifully texture with creamy apricot and a flash of cleansing citrus before soft, moreish finish. The quality here is remarkable, fantastic value for money too.
