Domaine Tawse Volnay 1er Cru Fremiets 2018

This is a fabulous Volnay from Tawse. Tons of fruit, both red and dark with a silky texture, wonderfully open and rounded, there's a heady note of smoky spice and some soft subtle oak before a richly fruited, luscious but yet mineral and clean finish. Great length, expertly built wine, that's suited to both early drinking and medium term cellaring.
