Vineyard named "En Orveaux" situated above the Clos Vougeot, exposed to the east. Neighbouring Chambolle-Musigny. Clay and limestone mix with a large proportion of small stones.

Beautifully structured with concentrated, powerful yet pretty red fruits sitting on a dense bed of earth, leather and aromatic tobacco. Approachable and inviting throughout the finish is long with delicate dried flowers and touches of inky blackberry. Drinking beautifully now but cellar time will reward with the addition of more gamey nuances.
