This really is a 'Super Second' wine, such good value from Chateau Pedeslaux. The nose is thick with floral vanilla and red fruits. The palate is fantastically fresh, laden with juicy raspberry coated in sweet spice. Towards the finish darker fruits appear alongside a faint dab of dark chocolate. A fine example of how brilliant 'second' wines are.
