Sourced mainly from vineyards in Bolgheri and the neighbouring area of Bibbona, with vines mainly planted on dark soils full of lime and clay, Ca'Marcanda Promis showcases a medley of wild berries - raspberries, cassis, and blueberries supported by background aromas of pink peppercorns and liquorice. On the palate, it's medium-bodied, offering smooth tannins and lively acidity with herbal notes at the forefront, followed by dark fruits like blackberry and black cherry, finishing with savoury olive undertones.

A perfect match for a variety of grilled meats and game, it can also be enjoyed with pizza, pasta, rich stews and casseroles as well as mature strong cheeses.
