By maturing the liquid in small batches in five unique casks, Laphroaig create a liquid that is rich, complex, varied and above all storied.

They have created a Laphroaig whisky which uses different aged liquids ranging from 7 to 21 years, allowing them to create the richest possible Laphroaig flavour.

As the name suggests, this new offering from Laphroaig is inspired by the knowledge and traditions passed down from generation to generation of its distillery managers, blenders and craftsmen.

As you would expect, LORE is big & rich with the customary dollop of powerful smoke & this certainly is the rich dram we're promised, the vanilla waves & sweet nuttiness effortlessly intermingle with smoke & peat, so very complex, the finish is a long lasting sweet treat to round things off.
