Produced from shiraz grapes grown in the high-altitude region of Orange, where the cooler climate allows the varietal to develop and ripen slower , resulting in a more elegant and restrained style. Wild yeast fermentation followed by 12 months aging in French oak barrels has produced a deep garnet wine with perfumed aromas of cherry, ripe strawberries, fennel, and dark chocolate. The medium-bodied palate offers ripe plum and raspberries with a lingering peppery finish.
