Mauricio Lorca Calma Indomita Albarin

At one time, on the verge of extinction, Albarin has been in northern Castilla y Leon for generations and has been consistently gaining a growing demand.  Although spelt similarly to Alberino, they are two very different grape varieties and are not even closely related.

Mauricio Lorca is well established as one of Argentina's highly regarded producers and has now begun to produce the lesser-known varieties that Spain has to offer, aiming to promote the unsung heroes of these regions. 

There, Alberin combines citrus aromas such as grapefruit and floral notes like jasmine. With a great natural acidity and medium body, it finishes with a smooth persistant fresh finish.
