Muscat de Frontignan overlooks the Mediterranean, near the town of Sète. The appellation produces a sweet wine from Muscat Blanc à Petits Grains, the leading grape in the Muscat family. Château de la Peyrade is the best producer in the area, making delicious, golden coloured, raisiny rich wines that have a succulent, honeyed aftertaste. The wine keeps well once opened.
