Hunter's Offshoot Sauvignon Blanc Pet Nat

Pétillant Naturel (pet nat) translates to naturally sparkling. The wine is bottled whilst it is still fermenting and sealed with a crown cap. The yeast continues to ferment the sugars producing carbon dioxide which creates the bubbles. The wine is cloudy and there is a sediment in the bottle as there is no filtration before bottling. 

This Pet Nat is made with Sauvignon Blanc expect grapefruit and citrus on the nose. The palate is fresh with notes of stonefruit and green apple. A well balanced glass of wine that can be enjoyed anytime.
