Patatsfontein wines named after homage to the sweet potato farm that once occupied this land is located around 180km inland from Cape Town in the region of Montagu. Primarily focusing on producing Chenin Blanc and Colombard the extreme climate, elevation and large proportion of slate in the soil produces a reductive minerality throughout there wines.
Wit Versnit meaning "White Blend" is a crisp blend of 68% Colombard and 32% Chenin Blanc which proves a light citrus note with blossom and slate to follow. The Lively nature of this wine provides a refreshing and zesty finish.
