Perrier-Jouët Grand Brut's lineage dates back to 1846 when Maison Perrier-Jouët introduced Cuvée K, pioneering the lightly dosed "brut" style champagne. This ground-breaking cuvée contained less than 5% sugar, a stark contrast to the era's norm of up to 40%. The house's reputation for brut champagnes stemmed from their use of high-quality grapes, which required minimal added sugar - a principle they maintain to this day.
Perrier-Jouët Grand Brut is characterized by a unique texture - soft and supple like suede, yet possessing density and structure. It's a champagne built on a robust foundation. This versatile champagne offers a diverse array of aromas and flavours, exuding a joyful generosity that enhances any occasion. Its complexity allows it to complement various dishes, from aperitifs to main courses featuring white meat or fish in creamy sauces.
