Schieber established their winery in 1978 as a family enterprise, Their vineyards are mainly located in two places – in the Baranya valley and in the very famous Görögszó vineyard.
Kékfrankos grapes are sourced mainly from the Baranya valley, which is closed valley to the north and thus very well protected from the cold northern winds. In the Baranya valley they have approximately 40ha of vineyard with aspects to the east, west and south.
Tasting notes: Intense ruby red with good structure and medium body, this elegant wine has notes of cherries and spice, black pepper with oak notes in the background.
Really versatile, try with paprika based Hungarian dishes, pork belly, sausage casserole or Spätzle.
