A collaboration between two iconic names to create Chiles first Iconic wine, Eduardo Chadwick and Robert Mondavi set out to change the landscape of Chilean wine, before Sena, Chile was almost only associated with wines at the lower end of the quality and price spectrum, mass produced for the mass market, but the birth of Sena changed that forever.
Year after year Sena now receives critical acclaim to rival any other wine in the world, consistently achieving scores in the mid-late 90's and even hitting a maximum 100 points from James Suckling.
the 2014 vintage is no exception, another classic;
'Deep ruby red with a crimson hue, Sena 2014 is an extremely complex wine that reveals a profound, layered and intense bouquet of red fruit including raspberry, red cherry combined with cedar, bay leaf, dill and subtle tobacco notes and a touch of anise, all framed by light aromas of cocoa and clove. The palate is rich, concentrated and full-bodied exhibiting abundant, youthful, yet supple tannins and a refined lingering finish'
