Tyrrell's Old Winery Chardonnay (Offer)

The Old Winery Chardonnay is a modern take on a traditional Chardonnay style. Grapes are picked a little earlier than usual to capture varietal freshness offering crisp, mouth-watering natural acidity, then matured it on yeast lees to add a little extra texture and complexity. It spent a relatively short time in French oak to maintain that wonderful freshness. The result is an easy-drinking, medium-bodied wine that offers aromas of stone fruit with a subtle hint of vanilla from the oak influence. The palate is generously flavoured with peach and citrus, rounded off with a clean, crisp finish. Serve slightly chilled to let the aromas and flavours sing. An ideal accompaniment to a wide variety of dishes, including seafood, vegetarian, chicken and pasta with a creamy sauce.
