Her journey begins with an extensive search for ideal vineyards in perfect soils. Her boutique winery specializes in unlocking the potential of old vines in the Swartland, Voor-Paardeberg, and Piekenierskloof regions, capturing the unique expressions of schist, granite, and iron-rich soils.

The Wolf & Woman Syrah exemplifies Fouché's philosophy. It's a blend from two distinct vineyards - one in iron-rich red soil, the other in schist - showcasing the Swartland's diverse terroir. This wine presents a deep ruby hue and complex aromatics of red and black fruits, fynbos, spice, and dark pepper. The palate offers good fruit concentration, savoury notes with spice, structured tannins, and balanced acidity.
